At fifteen, I gave a passionate presentation titled “Why Interior Design Is the Best Job Ever”
However, after some well-meaning discouragement from teachers and advisors, I took a more practical path and earned a degree in Communications, building a career in photography, graphic design, social media, and recruiting—but that original dream never disappeared.
Eventually, I found my way back to it and earned a Master’s in Interior Design, which became the launching point for Maplewood Studios. I feel incredibly lucky to be doing what I dreamed about as a kid. Today, Maplewood Studios brings those creative pieces together through thoughtful interiors, story-driven photography, and curated vintage furniture. While each service is a little different, they all share the same purpose: creating spaces with character, warmth, and belonging.
Outside the studio, I’m happiest spending time with my favorite people- camping , skiing, exploring new spaces, or finding the best happy hour. I’m always up for girls’ night, a cozy latte, a trip to Europe, or a long dinner with good friends and wine. I’m married to the love of my life, who is my biggest inspiration and cheerleader. And despite living far from family, I’m proud to hold the official title of favorite aunt to all eight of our nieces.
